Bio: Tongyan Lin is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of California, San Diego. She received an S.B. degree from MIT and obtained her Ph.D. from Harvard in 2012. After her doctorate, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics in the University of Chicago and at the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a recipient of the Sloan Research Fellowship Award, UC Hellman award, and DOE Early Career Award.
